Class Objective: To have participants learn about the graphite drawing of values, light, shading, cast shadows, contour drawing, negative spaces, and perspective using 3-D objects and photographs.

Supplies:
Strathmore 400 Series Drawing paper, Medium surface, 9”x12”
Graphite Pencils, 8B, 6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, 2H
Pencil Sharpener (manual or electric)
White Plastic Eraser
Kneaded Eraser
Soft Brush 2”-3” wide for removing eraser crumbs
