Artist Bio
My journey to being an artist began as a young teenager. It has evolved into a passion over the years. I love the creative process of art from the point of inspiration to the completed piece of work. I enjoy the rhythm of each pencil stroke as colors combine on the drawing surface.

Teaching others what I know about art and drawing is my greatest learning tool.

One of my favorite quotes by Paul Gardner is ~ A painting is never finished – it simply stops in interesting places.

I was born and raised in Ulysses, Kansas where there is not much vegetation or water.  I now live in luscious Bartlesville, Oklahoma with my husband and two children.  I have my work at One Good Turn Gallery in Bartlesville.  You can also purchase my artwork online at Etsy.com .  I am currently the DayBreak art coordinator for Elder Care  of Bartlesville.  I also teach drawing lessons at the Washington County Adult Center in Dewey, Oklahoma.  I am a board member of the Bartlesville Art Association  and teach workshops for them.  I am also a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America .
